Mark your calendars: **February 2027** is when the Straw Hat adventure begins all over again.

This isn’t just a fresh coat of paint — it’s a full reimagining of one of the greatest manga series ever created. [One Piece](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Piece), Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga, has been running since 1997 and remains one of the best-selling manga of all time. A WIT Studio remake is exactly the treatment this story deserves.

### What Does Season 1 Cover?

The first season will consist of **7 episodes**, wrapping up at the **Baratie Arc** — the point where Luffy first crosses paths with Sanji. That’s a tight, cinematic runtime that promises a polished, binge-worthy experience rather than filler-heavy pacing. It has also been confirmed that the full **East Blue Arc** will be adapted in the remake across future episode batches, so this is very much a long-term project with serious ambitions.
