Lucas Digne is on his way out of Everton, and is expected to leave the club within this month. However, his next destination has not been finalised just yet.

Chelsea were rumoured to be interested in him after Ben Chilwell was ruled out for the season due to surgery. However, Everton are only interested in letting him go permanently and are not going to agree to a loan deal. The Blues are now looking to call back Emerson from his loan spell at Lyon, instead of paying a big fee for the Frenchman.

Where will Lucas Digne go next?

Aston Villa are in talks with Everton about a permanent transfer for Lucas Digne. This week will be very important for the deal since the two clubs are trying to agree a final price for the transfer.

Although the player is open to joining Villa, an agreement has not been found between them just yet. Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi has been discussed as part of the move, but Everton have maintained that they want cash in exchange for Digne. So, a total agreement with them has not been reached yet.

Rafa Benitez has confirmed the departure of Lucas Digne, after the player had a falling out with the manager. Digne is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League, and is one of Everton’s most important players. And due to his reputation, it seems like Villa will have to pay a rather high fee for the Frenchman if they hope to secure his signature.
