Love Story of 90s
Filmmaker Amit Kasaria’s future film, Love Story of 90’s, has carefully picked the 1990s as the temporal backdrop, providing a depth of nostalgia that appeals to the viewer. The film, produced by Sangani Brothers Motion Pictures, is a collaboration between producers Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani, with Amit Kasaria directing.
Amit stated, “For a movie to be good, you need a strong support system with good producers like Haresh Sangani, Dharmesh Sangani, and the team.” It’s a love tale with the perfect amount of romance, supported by the right people, that makes LSO90’s (Love tale of the 90s) an incredible endeavour.”
Amit Kasaria stated, “The idea of LSO90’s (Love Story of 90’s) came to me because I am a child of the 1990’s. Maine Pyar Kiya, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun were films that helped shape my personality. I LOVE love stories. “I was always ambitious to make a romantic film.”
In his pursuit for the genre, he came upon an interview with Shah Rukh Khan. Two actors stated that following the enormous success of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, many young women were hunting for Raj and Simran in other films.
So, the filmmaker wanted to create a gripping love narrative, so he created two characters with a cinematic style who grew up watching 90s films. Amit stated, “I wanted to arrange for the characters to meet in a single spot. The conclusion of their voyage is expected to be intriguing and pleasurable. They will both have trust in the power of passion. Things don’t always go as planned, and real-life love may not be as idyllic as they envision.”
LSO90’S (Love Story of the 1990s) is a film about students going through their high school years in 2012, making it more modern. Kasaria stated, “I’m also celebrating 90s romance with this duo.” The characters believe in pure, innocent love. As a result, I decided to incorporate this into my movie.”
He added, “The trailer of the film will be filled with heartwarming romantic songs and family-friendly entertainment.” Many love stories nowadays fail to resonate with everyone because they focus too narrowly on a specific group of individuals. Viewers are having difficulty establishing a connection in India. There is a need for an authentic love story. This film will appeal to a broader audience rather than just a certain demographic.
Amit adds, “Adhyayan Suman was the first choice for this film, but he was involved in other projects. When I finally enquired again, as I was unable to develop the film with another person, Adhyayan quickly accepted and was ready to take on this project. The producers, Haresh and Dharmesh Sangani, both brothers, fully supported my decision. Creating an exceptional film necessitates an unrelenting support network.
Divita Rai, was chosen for the lead actress as she was on board with a very renowned talent agency. The director and the producer encountered numerous lovely girls, yet none quite matched the character. So, when they met Divita they felt that she embodies joy and is a firm believer in the essence of life.
The majority of the film is shot in Uttarakhand. Several sequences and songs were filmed in the lovely setting of Manali. A little section is remained to be filmed in Mumbai.
The film will have a theatrical premiere, but it will also be released on a well-known OTT platform later on.
When asked how they managed to get Bollywood’s best vocalists on board, the director replied, “The credit is rightfully owed to the music director Rahul Nair, who has an incredible gift. Rahul previously worked with Amit on the film Bekhudi. Rahul Nair composed the main song of LSO90’S (Love Story of the 90s). “The producers are bringing the director’s vision to life.”

The movie has set to hit soon in 2024.
