Just days before its premiere, **“Love on the Menu”** has dropped a highlight teaser that’s giving fans exactly what a good family romance drama should — warmth, chaos, and one confession that hits harder than expected.

## What the Drama Is About

“Love on the Menu” follows Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (Hani), two former lovers reuniting eight years after a painful breakup. As they reconnect, they end up piecing together the broken fragments of their families, slowly building something that looks a lot like a second chance at both love and home.

## What the Teaser Reveals

The teaser wastes no time establishing Han Gyu Rim’s larger-than-life presence, introducing her with the line “When something happens to someone somewhere, Captain Han appears!” — followed by her striking entrance, baseball bat in hand. From there, it’s clear she’s the kind of person everyone gravitates toward: she solves a Rubik’s Cube while playing with kids, rushes to help Park Soo Nam (Kang Ae Shim) the moment she collapses, and seems to charm nearly everyone she crosses paths with, including Park Jung Woo (Min Jin Woong), who’s instantly smitten after receiving her lunchbox.

Even Park Soo Nam and her son Jo Heung Sik show up hoping she’ll date him. Watching all of this unfold, Kim Moo Jin’s expression slowly shifts from curiosity to visible frustration — until he finally can’t hold back, asking her pointedly, “Are you this kind to everyone?” before following it with the far more vulnerable, “Can’t you just be kind to me?”

## Why This One’s Worth Watching

Family-centered romance dramas thrive on exactly this kind of tension — a big-hearted lead who’s kind to everyone, and the one person who wants that kindness just for themselves. Hani, known for her work as part of the K-pop group EXID before moving into acting, as detailed on [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hani_(singer)), brings that same magnetic energy to Han Gyu Rim.
