KBS2’s upcoming drama “Love on the Menu” just dropped a gripping new teaser, and it’s already stirring up plenty of buzz. The family romance drama follows two former lovers who reunite eight years after a painful breakup, slowly piecing together their broken families to build something warmer together.

Ha Seok Jin plays Kim Moo Jin, a polished, highly credentialed owner-chef running his own Italian restaurant, while Hani takes on the role of Han Gyu Rim — a side-dish shop employee who stays remarkably bright-spirited despite a genuinely tough life.

**Spoilers ahead!** The teaser opens with Han Gyu Rim’s younger brother expressing guilt over how much she’s sacrificed for their family — including giving up college so her sister could attend medical school. But that sacrifice is met with a shockingly cold response, followed by more family tension involving a mysterious past and a troublemaking father. Amid all this chaos, Han Gyu Rim defends Kim Moo Jin fiercely, insisting he’s “different” — even as misunderstandings threaten to shake that trust. Eventually, pushed to her limit, she declares she can’t take the unreasonableness in her family any longer.
