Forget the usual dating show formula — SBS is about to flip the genre on its head. The network’s new variety series **“Love Against Time”** centers on young people in their 20s and 30s who’ve faced terminal illness or near-death experiences, following them as they navigate love with a rare kind of clarity about how precious time really is.\

The show opens with a single haunting question: *“If I didn’t have much time left, who would I love?”* From there, it builds around a genuinely unique mechanic — participants exchange “time” with each other every night, a matching system that ties directly into the show’s central theme of living, and loving, fully in the present.

Anchoring the studio commentary is a stacked MC lineup: actress **Lee Se Young**, CNBLUE’s **Jung Yong Hwa**, SEVENTEEN’s **DK**, and **Yena**. Behind the camera, PD Lee Eun Sol — who previously helmed “Fortune Tellers’ Love” — is directing, and shared that the goal was to authentically capture how young people who understand life’s finiteness choose to love as boldly as possible in the time they’re given.
