Small props tell big stories in the MCU. One wall plaque in a new post-credits scene may have just changed how we see Loki’s role in *Avengers: Doomsday*.

### What Happened?

A post-credits scene in *Avengers Endgame: Encore* shows Mobius starting an ordinary day at the TVA. In the background hangs a plaque honoring Loki as **“Employee of All Time.”** Notably, it doesn’t call him God of Stories. He’s celebrated as staff, the one who finished the job nobody else could.

### Loki’s Journey

| Stage | Loki’s role |
| --- | --- |
| *Endgame* escape | Arrested by the TVA as a Variant |
| *Loki* Season 1 | Reluctant TVA agent |
| *Loki* Season 2 | Becomes God of Stories, holding the Multiverse’s branches together |
| *Endgame: Encore* | Honored as “Employee of All Time” |
| *Doomsday* | Confirmed return |

### Why the Title Matters?

- **It respects the Disney+ ending.** Marvel isn’t resetting *Loki*. It’s building on his sacrifice.
- **It confirms his importance.** After his sacrifice, the TVA stopped pruning timelines and started protecting the Multiverse.
- **It hints at danger.** The same job that makes Loki the Multiverse’s anchor also makes him a target.

Tom Hiddleston has already joked that of course he’s “holding the timelines together.” The post-credits scene suggests the Multiverse is already collapsing, and Loki sits at the center of it.

### The Doctor Doom Theory

Here’s where it gets speculative. Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) needs a way to rewrite reality, and the person holding it together is the obvious obstacle.

A March 2026 insider claim also suggests Doom has a grudge against Steve Rogers, whose move to another universe reportedly triggered an incursion that hurt Doom. Loki visited Steve and Peggy at the end of *Endgame*, so he could be tied to the original spark. Treat all of this as theory, not fact.

The [TV series](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loki_(TV_series)) may be done, but its ending clearly matters. Explore more in our [latest Marvel coverage](https://technosports.co.in/) and follow our [trending movie news](https://technosports.co.in/) ahead of *Doomsday*‘s December 18 release.
