Lokesh Kanagaraj is trading the director’s chair for the spotlight! His gritty acting debut, DC, has officially shifted its release to August 7, 2026.

This strategic delay clears the path for Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, this modern, high-octane reimagining of Devdas features Kanagaraj as a haunted gangster alongside Wamiqa Gabbi.

Get ready for cinematic fireworks!
