Netflix dropped the first teaser of fantasy thriller series titled ‘Lockwood & Co.,’ There is a young-adult book series of the same name by Jonathan Stroud. The Lockwood & Co. sneak peek teaser features Ruby Stokes and Cameron Chapman as they portray the respective roles of Lucy Carlyle and Anthony Lockwood. In the video, the duo can be seen fighting off a violent ghost.
Based on Jonathan Stroud’s novel series, Lockwood & Co. is written and directed by Attack the Block filmmaker Joe Cornish. Lucy comes with gripping suspense in London, where the most gifted teenage ghost-hunters venture nightly into perilous combat with deadly spirits, amidst the many corporate, adult-run agencies, one stands alone independent of any commercial imperative or adult supervision – a tiny startup, run by two teenage boys and a newly arrived, supremely psychically gifted girl, a renegade trio destined to unravel a mystery that will change the course of history: Lockwood & Co.
Among the two teenagers, one has fallen from the banister in a haunted house. The other teen, Lockwood just pills out his wand to fend off the spirit as Lucy hangs precariously by her fingertips. When Lockwood has stalled the ghost. Lucy just slowly loses her grip but a big thanks for the luck as he has saved her before she made a dangerous fall. While the two ghosthunters come face to face, Lockwood asks, “Did it touch you?” Lucy replies, “Of course not. I’d be dead.’
