Netflix’s most awaited English drama film ‘Locked In’ has started its filming. The film has been directed by Nour Wazzi, and written by Rowan Joffe. The franchise has recently exposed the cast list, and the filming has started on the project.
Nicky Bentham’s Neon Films takes responsibility for the production. The production company is popularly known for The Duke, starring Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren.
In 2000, Joffe served as a writer for the critically acclaimed Last Resort movie. Popularly, he’s known for serving as an executive producer and writer of the English series Tin Star and working on 2019’s The Informer. Nour Wazzi is directing the project and will continue under her Panacea Productions banner.
The two means Panacea and Wazzi were engaged in Netflix’s recent family live-action series, The Last Bus. On 1ssr Aprile 2022 the series was released that came from Wildseed Studios. This is mainly a 10-episode series made by Paul Neafcy and featured The Umbrella Academy star, Robert Sheehan. We’re told there is currently no news regarding a second season.
Locked In: Plot
The story of the film follows Lina against her brittle, getting hurt by her mother-in-law, Katherine. Actually, there is an affair set in between Lina on a journey of mystery, betrayal, and murder.
Locked In: Cast
Famke Janssen, known as Jean Grey in the X-Men movies, featured in the lead role of Katherine. Janssen previously appeared in two Netflix Original shows, Hemlock Grove and When They See Us.
Rose Williams has been featured in the role of Lina. Williams was previously seen in the internationally licensed Netflix Original show Medici as Caterina Sforza Riario.
Alex Hassell has been featured in a currently unnamed role in Locked In. He is famous for his work in The Tragedy of Macbeth, Hassell had a short recurring role on Amazon Prime’s The Boys as Translucent, and he has appeared in the role of Vicious in the short-lived Netflix adaptation of Cowboy Bebop.
Finn Cole is a part of Locked In. Anna Friel has been added for an unnamed role in Locked In.
Friel will be making her Netflix debut in Locked In. She is most popular for recently starring in the FOX series Monarch, previously starred in shows such as Marcella, and The Box, and in movies such as Land of the Lost and Limitless.
Locked In: Production Status
The new report says that Principal photography started on 20th December 2022. Filming will take place over the next couple of months, and is scheduled to conclude by 20th February 2023. The Shooting locations used are predominantly in London, UK.
