Just months after BLACKPINK’s “Deadline,” LISA is stepping into the spotlight solo — and fans can’t stop talking about it. On August 24, she unveiled the cover art for her upcoming EP **“Press Play,”** confirming an October 23 release that’s already being called her boldest, most personal project to date.

## What We Know So Far

“Press Play” arrives as LISA’s follow-up to her debut full-length album, described as a celebration of how far she’s come while honoring her roots in Thailand. The 6-track EP caps off a massive breakout year for the star — one that included her role in “The White Lotus” Season 3, sold-out Las Vegas shows, and a documentary premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The announcement landed the same day as bandmate JISOO’s own solo teaser, with JENNIE having already revealed her solo EP plans earlier — signaling a full BLACKPINK “solo era” rollout. The lead single, “SaWaDiKa,” drops September 3, ahead of the full EP.
