Lionel Messi is no foreigner to records, the Argentina commander has shattered another record, as his Instagram post after winning the FIFA World Cup has come to the most-liked picture ever, on Instagram. Messi’s 10- slide post, celebrating Argentina’s 4- 2 palm over France in the final has surpassed’ The Egg’ which was the former most-liked snap on Instagram.

Messi also made a sincere post on Instagram thanking his teammates, family, and Argentina supporters along with prints of him celebrating with the jewel. He also made it clear at the end of it that he may have played his last World Cup match but intends to continue playing for Argentina. “ WORLD titleholders!!!!!!! I pictured it so numerous times, I wanted it so much that I still haven’t fallen, I can’t believe it ” says Messi in Spanish.

The account@world_record_egg posted a print of an egg, firstly taken by Serghei Platanov, which became the most-liked picture on Instagram on January 4, 2019, amassing 56 million likes, but Messi’s post has surpassed that, with over 57 million likes at the time of jotting. Before, Messi’s post had come the most liked picture by a sportsperson, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s picture wherein he can be been playing chess with Messi himself.
