He was recently handed a suspension for his unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia. And amidst those reports, it emerged that he didn’t want to stay at the club. But his mind could be changed by the sporting project, which will be finalised once this season’s objectives have been achieved.

Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have offered the World Cup winner a €400 million contract to make the move to their club. The offer eclipses that made to Cristiano Ronaldo to sign for Al-Nassr in January. However, Messi has not said yes to their proposal as of yet.
He has also been contacted by his former club, Barcelona, over a return. But, their issues with FFP are restricting their ability to sign players especially considering Inigo Martinez and Ilkay Gundogan, who are expected to sign as free agents this summer.
There is still a chance Messi could stay at PSG, while a shock move to Saudi Arabia, of whom he is an ambassador, could still happen. Barcelona will need to sort out their issues with FFP before they can register him during the transfer window.
