Additional internal features include:

  • Enhanced Gaming GUI: Users can choose from various modes, including Gamer, First Person Shooter (FPS), or Real-Time Strategy (RTS), to optimize display settings for the best view possible.
  • Dynamic Action Sync: The monitor intelligently responds to action as it happens with reduced input lag and incredible performance.
  • Black Stabilizer: Black Stabilizer aids users by offering better views in shadows to ensure the enemy is not sneaking up on them in the game.
  • Frames Per Second Counter: The user’s frames per second are displayed in real-time.
  • On-screen Crosshair: Center-display crosshairs enhance vision and pro-level precision for increased accuracy.

The new gaming monitor has a 1ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time, which lessens screen ghosting and blur. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is also supported on the new LG UltraGear 49-inch dual QHD curved monitor (49GR85DC-B), giving gamers even more tools for a fluid, nearly tear-free gaming experience.

The LG UltraGear 49-inch dual QHD curved monitor’s (49GR85DC-B) design combines borderless display with LED hexagonal backlighting.

Users can customise height, tilt, and swivel to suit their tastes. In the gaming display market, hexagons—whether in the stand or lighting—appear more frequently and are a widely adopted trend.

The monitor is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 for connectivity. On this display, both connections are supported and give you a refresh rate of up to 240Hz. In order to replicate accurate spatialization and localization in games for 3D audio over headphones, LG has also included a four-pole headphone jack and DTS Headphone: X.

For any circumstance, DTS HP:X supports scene-based, object-based, and channel-based audio. You can equally combine stereo headphone signals and mono microphone signals thanks to an additional 4-pole headphone jack.

The new LG UltraGear 49-inch dual QHD curved monitor (49GR85DC-B), which has a preorder price of $1,299.99, is anticipated to start shipping on April 3, 2023.
