According to the reports, LG is going to launch its Q smartphone series, and most importantly it will be a mid-range pocket-friendly series from LG. The latest update of the Q series is the LG Q92. This phone has recently been launched in Korea. This phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC chipset. This is the same processor as the LG Velvet has. Though the rear camera configuration is different.
Now if we talk about another model of this series, the LG Q61, which is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor. LG is now planning to launch more and more smartphones of the Q series in the next year (2021). There are three phones which were made to the Korean intellectual property authority KIPRIS on September 25, 2020. These three phones are Q43, Q63S, and Q83. This year in the month of May, LG has also registered 13 trademarks for the mid-range Q series. Those are Q31, Q32, Q33, Q51, Q51S, Q52, Q53, Q61, Q62, Q63, Q91, Q92, and Q93. Among them, the Q31, Q51, and Q61 are already available in South Korea.
That’s all we’ve known yet regarding the Q series of LG. The upcoming model of the Q series will definitely be more pocket-friendly and cost-effective to its new line. The features and specifications will be as usual great from the company. Regarding the pricing, the upcoming Q series phone from LG is expected to carry a price tag less than the Q61’s ~US$300 price to less than the Q92’s starting cost of ~US$420.
