LG Signature OLED R is a rollable 65″ TV now available for $87,000

LG Signature OLED R is a rollable 65″ TV now available in several major retail stores in South Korea at KRW 100,000,000 – that’s around $87,000 or €74,000. To make it simple it is a rollable television that can roll out to form a full fledged 65″ TV and when the OLED display is not needed it can roll in inside the aluminium frame.

There are several view modes including Line view, that exposes just the top part of the screen and Zero view keeps the screen completely hidden. The aluminium frame of the TV where the screen rolls in is a 4.2 channel speakers totaling 100W output power that uses only the speaker power while the OLED display is not in use. The Line view has many uses where the Line mode enables 5 views: Music, Clock, Frame, Mood and Home Dashboard.

Now coming to the design and manufacturing of the LG Signature OLED R, the TV is manufactured at the company’s Gumi TV plant in Gyeongbuk. Danish textile company Kvadrat provides the fabric that covers the speakers. The colour options available on this fabric are Signature Black, Moon Gray, Topaz Blue, and Toffee Brown. The base is curved by aluminum and personalization is also available. This piece of work is only meant for luxury as some of the craftsmanship is even done by hand.

Buying this TV will benefit you with three years of extended service, which includes sending technicians twice a year to inspect the TV. This will ensure that the TV is in top shape. The company will also send tem to help in installation for the first time.
