It seems 2020 is the year for ultra-wide curved gaming monitors with multiple companies launching their own curved gaming monitors. Samsung’s flagship G9 1000R Odyssey Curved Gaming Monitor, so LG has also launched a 38-inch Curved Gaming Monitor.
The new LG 38WN95C-W also appeared in CES this year, and now it is available in some parts of the world including the US where it is already available for pre-order at $1,599. In the LG UK product page, it is indicated that the monitor is “coming soon”.
The LG 38WN95C-W is a 38-inch UltraWide QHD+ Anti-glare IPS curved monitor aimed towards gamers with its high 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The monitor is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, helping to enjoy games with your NVIDIA GPU.
Apart from gaming its high quality QHD+ IPS curved panel with 3840 x 1600 resolution is ideal for productivity works as well. The Nano IPS Display covers 98% of the DCI P3 colour space along with a great 450 nits of peak brightness along with 21:9 aspect ratio and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
So, being VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified, the monitor delivers a truly dynamic HDR experience on a 38-inch wide curved gaming monitor. It also features two 5W speakers and has a stand that lets you Tilt/Height/Swivel the monitor.
Talking about the ports, the LG 38WN95C-W features a much need Thunderbolt 3 port, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort and two USB ports.
