The Azzurri have reinforced their defence with their first moves in the transfer window this summer. They have agreed a deal with Real Madrid for Rafa Marin to add a new central defender to their ranks.
And with Spinazzola, they have a player who is comfortable playing as the wing-back in Conte’s preferred three-man defence system. However, the former Juventus and Inter manager might try something new once he starts at Napoli, given the kind of profiles available in the squad.
After the signing of Leonardo Spinazzola, the attention turns to the situation of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen. The two star attackers have been heavily linked with an exit, but a deal is yet to be finalised with any club.
