A recent ITHome report has confirmed that the Chinese OEM giant Lenovo has launched a new ThinkBook 14 laptop in its native country. It’s called the Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Ryzen Edition and sports the same AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, which was seen in March released Xiaoxin Air 14 2021 Ryzen Edition.
The new AMD Ryzen powered laptop is supposed to cost 4399 yuan or US$672.47 and is powered by the Zen 2 refreshed 6 core and 12 threaded Ryzen 5 5500U should give enough juice for everyday usage.
It is said to sport a metal body, with a contrasting colour design on the A-side; however, the body is as light as 1.4kg and as thin as 17.9mm.
Being named the Lenovo ThinkBook 14, it features a 14 inches FHD display, covering 100% sRGB colour gamut along with 300 nits of peak brightness, and has been certified to emit low blue light. So, you have a good display for everyday work.
The AMD Ryzen APU is paired with 16GB of RAM (8GB onboard) and 512GB of SSD. For ports, you have two USB-A, two USB-C, an HDMI, RJ45 network ports and an SD card reader. The laptop is already to purchase in China here.
