The latest news from mainland China is that the country’s smartphone maker, Lenovo, has recently disclosed some juicy details about its upcoming flagship mobile phone before 2022. Recently, we also witnessed the new Lenovo phone powered by Qualcomm’s SM8450 flagship processor. The smartphone is scheduled to hit the market in the coming winter, and speculations suggest that it will be the first to sport the Snapdragon 895 processor.

For now, we don’t know many details about the upcoming Qualcomm SM8450 processor as the manufacturer is yet to release some crucial details. However, according to prior leaks, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 CPU is based on the new Cortex-V9 Kryo 780 GPU and integrates the new Adreno 730 GPU.

It’s also rumoured that the new chip will be considerably faster than the Snapdragon 888, at least in theory. However, there is still a chance that Lenovo might not be the one to launch the new chip first in the market.

Going by history, no matter which smartphone company announced the new Qualcomm flagship chip first, Xiaomi was the first to bring phones to the market. So rumours are going strong that the Snapdragon 895 will first debut in Xiaomi Mi 12.

But still, in recent times, Lenovo has deepened its cooperation with Qualcomm, and most of the leaks that we see of the Snapdragon 895 are coming our way from Lenovo, and not Xiaomi or Samsung for a matter. But the market is still tricky, and the situation can change unexpectedly. So let’s see who will be the first to debut the new Snapdragon chip.
