Lenovo India said the Legion Go, a new gaming tablet, will be launched next week. This is Lenovo’s first gaming portable Windows device, following its debut at IFA 2023 last year.
It validates many aspects regarding the soon-to-be portable gaming device. The business has also verified that all purchasers will receive a complimentary three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Lenovo Legion Go features, pricing, and launch rumors
The Lenovo Legion Go‘s Indian version is expected to work with Legion Glasses, per the webpage. The three modes it supports—handheld, detachable, and first-person shooter—have also been confirmed. In the latter configuration, a portion of the controller may be turned into a vertical mouse by using an optional controller base, which improves aim in first-person shooter games.
The Lenovo Legion Go will include an 8-inch, 10-point touchscreen. Its screen will have a 500 nits brightness, QHD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 97% DCI P3 color gamut. Processors from the AMD Ryzen Z1 family will power the portable game console.
With RDNA 3 graphics and up to 8.6 TFLOPS, the Ryzen Z1 series processors are produced with a 4nm technology. For a flexible first-person shooter gaming experience, it has removable controllers called “TrueStrike controllers.” It is equipped with “Legion Space,” an all-in-one location where users can conveniently access games and change settings.
With support for rapid charging, the Lenovo Legion Go will have a 49.2Wh battery. Moreover, Battery Optimization and Power Bypass options will be available. The console is expected to come in Shadow Black at launch in India, based on the teaser images.
It was priced at EUR 799 (about Rs 71,700) in international markets. Lenovo hinted to the possibility of turning the palm device into a gaming PC with the next gaming console. Implying a cost of Rs. 69,990, which was the launch price of the ROG Ally in India.
