Lenovo Legion Duel 2 launched with Snapdragon 888 and up to 18 GB of RAM in China

The Chinese company, Lenovo, has just now launched its second-ever gaming smartphone, namely, Legion Phone 2 Pro or Legion Phone Duel 2. The new version of their gaming smartphone has some mesmerizing features.

The Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro sports a 6.92-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display with up to 144 Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10+ and has HDR optimization which will further enhance the visual experience for the users. It has a screen resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels and has a touch response rate of 720Hz. As leaked before, the Legion Phone 2 Pro is backed by the strongest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor for Androids.

In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a dual-rear camera module which includes an OmniVision 64 MP primary camera and a 16 MP ultra-wide angle sensor. Unfortunately, this new smartphone has no telephoto camera or macro camera which is seen in every premium smartphone nowadays. For selfies and video chats, you will be offered a 44MP front snapper.

As it is a gaming smartphone, it is very important to see about the cooling technology it possesses. Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro comes with a robust twin-turbo fan active cooling system in which one fan will intake air while the other fan will push out the hot air. The company claims that these fans have a life of up to 50,000 hours or 6 years. Apart from this cooling technology, Lenovo also offers a vapor chamber with liquid cooling for passive cooling.

Talking about the battery, the smartphone is packed with a 5500mAh battery which is split into two halves. The battery cells are paired with a 90W fast charging support. Lenovo will also offer a 65W charger in the box. This Legion Phone 2 Pro will be offered in two colours: Ultimate Black and Titanium White. The smartphone will be ready for sale in May but only in Europe and the Asia Pacific markets. There are multiple variants of this device with different prices. These are:
