Lenovo Legion 5 with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060 Max-P available for ₹130,490

Lenovo’s Legion 5 is one of the best gaming laptops ever made by Lenovo and it just gets better each year with new hardware as well as other improvements. This year’s Legion 5 sports new AMD Ryzen 5000H processors paired with new RTX 30-series GPUs.

There’s not a huge change in the design but the display has been made more colour accurate, covering 100% sRGB colour gamut, featuring Dolby Vision as well as both Free-Sync and G-Sync support. The IPS display here can go up to 300 nits of peak brightness while sporting a 165Hz refresh rate for gamers.

On the hardware front, you have the 8 core, 16 thread AMD Ryzen 7 5800H paired with RTX 3060 Max-P variant for better performance. This comes paired with 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM that can be expanded to 32GB and you have 1 TB PCIe SSD storage.

Coming to connectivity, you have both 2×2 WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 support. While for ports, you have a lot of them: 4xUSB 3.2 Gen 1 (one Always On), 2xUSB-C 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet (RJ-45), Headphone/microphone combo jack (3.5mm).

The new Lenovo Legion 5 also sports a 4 cell 80Wh battery that promises up to 9 hours of battery life. You do have a 720p with E-camera Shutter for attending video calls and for audio, there are Stereo speakers on this laptop. Obviously, you have an RGB LED Backlit keyboard which is Lenovo’s signature Legion TrueStrike keyboard.

TrueStrike delivers a superior layout with dedicated media keys, a number pad, larger arrow keys and a one-piece trackpad illuminated with a crisp white or optional RGB backlight. Lenovo has a lot of optimization going on to make this laptop even more smart and powerful including the Legion AI Engine and Legion Coldfront 3.0.

While the AI Engine is known for its Auto-Optimization mode intelligently identifies your game launches and optimizes system performances with dynamic CPU/GPU power distribution, the Legion Coldfront 3.0 helps to max clock speeds with zero throttling over long sessions.

The latest cooling solution by Lenovo ups the stakes even further with an intelligent intake system, a dual fan design with quad-channel exhaust systems and improved thermal fins, and intake vents underneath each keyboard switch and heat sinks.
