Lenovo, after releasing its Ideapad 5 last month, adds a new model to the Ideapad series called Ideapad Duet. It’s a 2 in 1 tablet. Though in the official Lenovo site it is in “Coming Soon” mode, Best Buy priced $299 taking the detachable keyboard included.
The company describes four facts to help you to distinguish this Ideapad Duet with others. Out of them one I already mentioned in brief. That is the 2 in 1 tablet. Due to the detachable keyboard, you can convert this product from tablet to laptop or vice versa as per your need. This makes the device portable too. If you don’t need the keyboard, you can easily keep it in your home and carry the screen only.
As per Lenovo, it takes around 8 seconds on average to boot which is quite faster. This also takes care of viruses and updates by itself. This tab has Chrome OS indie. While purchasing this product, you will get 100GB of Google One membership for 12 months. Lastly, the design. It comes with a unique dual-tone Ice Blue and Iron Grey design.
Apart from the outer getup, let’s switch to the hardware specifications, which matters a lot more.
A MediaTek Helio P60T chipset powers the performance of your IdeaPad Duet being with a 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. To store your needs Lenovo provides a 64GB or a 128GB of eMCP storage. You need to keep in mind the Duet doesn’t have any microSD card reader. On average cases, you can use it without the charger for around 10 hours. Thanks to the 7,180 mAh battery.
