Leeds United are interested to get the services of Wales winger Daniel James.
Leeds United are back in Premier League after 16 years and have already shown their impact in the first two games of the Premier League. In the first match, they lost to defending champion Liverpool by 4-3. But their performance showed how good they are. In the next match, they bounced back against Fulham and beat them by 4-3.
To make their attack stronger they have already signed Spanish striker Rodrygo from Valencia. Now they want Daniel James from their old rival Manchester United.
Daniel James joined Manchester United last summer from Swansea City for £15 million. He put an explosive start in United jersey by scoring 3 goals in his first 4 Premier League matches. But since then he has not scored any in Premier League. James has played 47 goals for Manchester United scoring only 4 goals including 6 assists.
Daniel James is now not a regular starter for Manchester United. Mason Greenwood took his place at the end of last season and outshone his performance. Manchester United is linked with multiple wingers this summer as well. So, it is quite obvious that James will get lesser game time this season with Manchester United.
Leeds United are offering a chance to the Wales winger to get more first-team minutes. Leeds United was interested to sign Daniel James in January 2019 but he chose to go to Manchester instead. Leeds are again interested in him now. They want to pay £12m plus add-ons to sign him.
Though any of the two clubs have not confirmed the fees and all. According to some reports, the deal can also end in a loan deal. But whatever the deal is done, it will be a great move for Daniel James if he gets first-team football. He will surely get a chance to shut his critics and prove them wrong.
