Numerous reports suggest that Leeds United are expected to complete three signings of the summer transfer window during the next weeks. Last season, the Yorkshire giants relished a successful comeback season in the Premier League, marking their first return to the top tier in 16 years.

If Marcelo Bielsa is able to bring in the right players this summer, his side will be in a strong position to continue developing and aim for a higher finish on the league table. Carlton Palmer, a former Leeds player, believes Marcelo Bielsa to be interested in knocking on Chelsea’s door for Michy Batshuayi, one of his former players. The two have previously worked together at Marseille.

Batshuayi has grappled for playing time at Chelsea and has been loaned off to multiple clubs along the way. He has also been unable to impress during his loan spell at Crystal Palace. Leeds, on the other hand, could use more options upfront, and Palmer believes the Belgian would be a good fit for Bielsa.

Palmer stated, “well, he knows him, doesn’t he? Managers generally like to work with players they know, players like to go work for managers they know because they get the best out of them”.

As soon as the transfer window opens, Leeds should be expected to make Jack Harrison’s loan from Manchester City permanent in a 11 million deal. Leeds fans would be thrilled at this development, as it appears to be excellent business on the club’s part for a player who has been a highly significant figure at Elland Road during his loan periods there.

Leeds United are also expected to unload players, with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that Olly Casey will depart. Casey has piqued the eye of lower-league clubs and will most likely be loaned out this summer. Mateusz Bogusz, meanwhile, is likely to leave after failing to impress since joining Leeds in 2019. He also failed to make an impression during his most recent loan spell.
