According to reports, OnePlus is currently working on a new smartphone for their Nord series. Although the official name of the device has not been revealed yet, there have been leaks that provide insights into its design through images. Let’s dive deeper into it.
More About the Rumored OnePlus Device
A leak recently surfaced showcasing renders of a device with the model number CPH2613. This leak comes shortly after OnePlus launched their flagship OnePlus 12 lineup worldwide. While the leak doesn’t explicitly mention the smartphone’s name, the design in these renders strongly suggests its connection to the Nord series.
Upon analyzing these renders it has become clear that the OnePlus model CPH2613 takes an approach by not including a slider, which is typically seen in higher-end devices but often omitted in more affordable options. This omission hints at the possibility that this device could be a successor to models like Nord CE 3 or Nord CE 3 Lite. The renders display a front and back design with corners. On the front, there is an aligned punch hole cutout, for the selfie camera while on the rear we can see an arranged dual camera setup accompanied by an LED flash module housed within a pill-shaped module.
The report states that the screen includes a fingerprint scanner, indicating that it has an AMOLED display. Key design elements include a microphone, USB Type C port, speaker holes, and SIM card slot at the bottom. At the top, there is a sensor, microphone, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Additionally, the 91Mobiles report shares details from the Camera FV5 listing, confirming a 50 MP primary camera on the rear with OIS and EIS support, boasting an f/1.8 aperture. Meanwhile, the selfie camera is reported to feature a 16 MP sensor with EIS and an f/2.4 aperture.
