Xiaomi is known for launching its flagship series smartphones towards the end of the year, meaning that the next-generation Xiaomi 14 phones are still several months away. The anticipated release for these devices is expected to be in November or December of this year. However, leaks and rumors surrounding the Xiaomi 14 have already begun to surface, providing insights into what we can expect from this upcoming offering.

The Upcoming Xiaomi 14 Leaked Specs

According to recent information shared by Digital Chat Station (DCS), a reliable tipster, the Xiaomi 14 is said to feature an even larger 50-megapixel main camera sensor compared to its predecessor. This sensor is reported to have a size of 1/1.28 inches and will be paired with a medium-telephoto unit. Furthermore, there are speculations that the smartphone will feature a flat display with ultra-slim bezels, providing an enhanced visual experience. DCS also mentions that the Xiaomi 14 will be available in storage options of 512GB and 1TB, a step up from the current Xiaomi 13 which tops out at 512GB.

According to a previous leak by DCS, it was disclosed that the smartphone would come with an enhanced 4,860mAh battery that will be compatible with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This battery upgrade promises extended usage time and faster charging capabilities. Furthermore, it is expected that the Xiaomi 14 will be powered by the highly anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship processor, ensuring powerful performance and efficiency.

The leaked schematic of the device showcased a flat display on the front with minimal bezels and a centrally aligned punch-hole cutout. On the rear panel, a square-shaped camera module was evident, resembling the design seen in the current Xiaomi 13 series. However, it is worth noting that the camera cutouts for the main and telephoto lenses on the Xiaomi 14 appear larger compared to its predecessor, hinting at potential improvements in camera capabilities.
