The Lava Yuva 5G was teased by the company through a statement to X this week prior to its launch in India later on. The Indian smartphone maker has released a teaser video revealing the look of its next-gen 5G smartphone. The Lava Yuva 5G smartphone has a hole punch display design and circular rear camera island It is said that the phone will go on sale via Amazon as well and a dedicated microsite for the smartphone has already gone live on the e-commerce platform. Lava Yuva 5G, on the other hand, is likely to offer a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

As per an X post, the Lava Yuva 5G launch event is scheduled in India for May 30 at 12:00pm. The teaser video gives a sneak peek into the design of the phone, with features like a hole punch display and a flat frame rounded tapers on all sides It has a round-shaped camera module that contains an AI-backed dual camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor.
The rear panel showcases a glass back with a matte finish and bears the Lava Moniker and 5G branding in vertical alignment at the bottom. In addition, the Lava Yuva 5G will be up for sale on Amazon as well and a teaser page is already live on the e-commerce giant.
Recently, the Lava Yuva 5G made an appearance on the Geekbench website under the model number LXX513. The listing indicates that the device will run on the Android 14 operating system and offer 6GB or 8GB RAM configurations. It is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity processor, comprising two cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz and six cores clocked at 2.0GHz.
The device may feature either the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC or Dimensity 6080 SoC. The Lava Yuva 5G is rumored to include a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5,000mAh battery. It is expected to be competitively priced at under ₹10,000 in the Indian market.
