Lava is broadening its footprint in the value-driven, Indian market with the release of the Lava Yuva 2 5G. This new device comes weeks after the Lava Yuva 5G was unveiled back in September. Lava Yuva 2 5G Launched in India with 90Hz Display and 5,000mAh Battery: Price and Specs

The Lava Yuva 2 5G comes in a lone 4GB+128GB version and is priced at ₹9,499. The phone has a “premium marble finish” which comes in Black and White colors, this design element, we have already seen on phones including OnePlus 11 and Huawei P60 Pro. It is now on sale through the Lava retail stores. The marble finish is new to the Yuva series, and the flatter sides of the phone add a sleek contrast to the rest of its body. While the rear camera setup seems to be similar to its predecessor, the camera island has a different design.

Unlike the Yuva 5G, the Yuva 2 5G comes equipped with a bigger display. The previous model was available in a 64GB version, but the new device comes in a single 128GB configuration. The chip has also been upgraded to the Unisoc T760, moving on from the T750 used on the previous model. The Lava Yuva 2 5G has a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 700 nits peak brightness, and a center punch-hole cutout.

The phone is comparatively more powerful as is powered by the Unisoc T760 chipset, which features four Cortex-A76 cores at 2200 MHz and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2000 MHz. It features 4GB of RAM (8GB with virtual memory) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

On the camera front, it offers a 50MP + 2MP AI camera setup on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and runs on clean Android 14. Additional features include dual stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, and face unlock. Lava also provides a 1-year warranty and free home service with the phone.
