Lava launches “Prowatch” with 600 nits peak brightness

Lava made its wristwatch debut with its Prowatch line. There are two versions of the company’s smartwatch line: Prowatch ZN and VN. With a PPG sensor for heart rate and fitness tracking choices, the more expensive ZN smartwatch is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also has health monitoring features.

The Prowatch ZN is available in two finishes: silicon and metal, and Valerian Grey and Dragonglass Black. The Prowatch VN model is available in three colors: Gull Grey, Moore Black, and Delft Blue. It only comes with a silicon strap.

Furthermore, it’s critical to remember that Indian smartwatch businesses with a large user base already include Noise, boAt, and Fire-Boltt. According to a recent report by Counterpoint, a market research agency, Fire-Boltt holds a 30 percent share and claimed the top spot in the Indian wristwatch market in 2023.

Pricing for the Lava smartwatch ZN is Rs 4,999 for the silicon strap variant and Rs 5,999 for the metal strap variant. But starting on April 26, both versions will be offered at a special price of Rs 2,599 and Rs 2,999. The smartwatch will be sold offline at a few retail locations as well as online at the Lava e-store and Amazon India.

Prowatch

The Prowatch VN model retails for Rs 3,999, but starting on April 26, it will be offered at a special price of Rs 1,999. Like the ZN, the VN variant will be sold at a few retail locations as well as the Lava e-store and Amazon India.
