Lava Blaze 2 5G Makes Its Debut in India with a Starting Price of ₹9,999

In 2023, Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has focused on launching a range of new smartphones, particularly targeting the entry-level budget segment, offering impressive cameras, design, and 5G connectivity. Recently, Lava introduced its latest entry-level 5G smartphone, the Lava Blaze 2 5G, in India, starting at just ₹9,999. The Lava Blaze 2 5G showcases an appealing glass back design with a rear ring light and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 Processor, among other features. Lava has released the Blaze Pro 5G in two versions: one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and another with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Both variants support expandable RAM up to 1TB. The phone is available in three vibrant colors: Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Lavender. Starting November 9, the Lava Blaze 2 5G will be available for purchase on Amazon.in and Lavamobiles.com.

Under the hood, the Blaze 2 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 Processor, running on Android 13 OS with a promised upgrade to Android 14. The device comes with a two-year commitment of quarterly security updates and is powered by a 5000mAh battery, supporting 18W fast charging through Type-C.

The phone features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS punch-hole display with a 2.5D curved screen and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Notable features include anonymous auto-call recording and a side fingerprint sensor for enhanced security and convenience.

In terms of photography, the Lava Blaze 2 5G boasts a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera with a screen flash for high-quality selfies. The smartphone offers various built-in camera modes, including Film, Slow Motion, Timelapse, UHD, GIF, Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters, and Intelligent Scanning.

Lava is also introducing a ‘free service at home’ initiative, providing doorstep service for Lava devices under warranty. Users can avail of this service by visiting the official website.

Previously, in September, Lava launched the Blaze Pro 5G priced at Rs 12,499 for the sole model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This device features a color-changing back panel and is available in two color variants. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, runs on Android 13 OS, and offers 128GB storage and 8GB expandable RAM. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.
