Lautaro Martinez is set to renew his contract with Inter Milan until 2029, ending all rumours of a potential transfer away. The Argentine has worn the captain’s armband and has led the club to their 20th Scudetto this season, also finishing as the top scorer in Serie A with 24 goals to his name.
The 26-year-old had only two years left on his contract when the Nerazzurri started negotiating, and they have agreed a new contract until 2029 with their star player to keep him at the club.

As per Sky Italia, the Serie A MVP of the season has agreed a contract worth €9 million per season plus add-ons, making him one of the best paid players in the league. Moreover, it goes to show that new owners Oaktree are keen to maintain the existing structure at the club, in spite of the change in ownership.
The club’s hierarchy has been kept intact, and with Lautaro’s new contract, so is the focal point of their squad.
Inter have already signed Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski on free transfers ahead of the new season, with both moves set to strengthen their squad even further.
