Lautaro Martinez is on the radar for Barcelona for quite some time now and the board is firm on its decision to land the Argentine this summer at any cost. Also the 22-yeat old considers Barca as it’s only choice to play alongside Messi.
Martinez is a natural striker and a goal poacher with strong physicality, quite similar to Luis Saurez, who is already at the limelight of his career. Lautaro is the ideal replacement for the Uruguayan who can carry forward Barcelona’s legacy.
The scout who discovered him considers Lautaro as the ideal no. 9 for the Barcelona captain. Fabio Radaelli, the man who discovered the striker, has been talking about the Inter Milan forward and how he could be a great team-mate for the GOAT.
“To play with Messi you need to be smart and Lautaro is a very intelligent player. You have to be very careful about what he does because at any moment he can give you an incredible ball. So, you must be prepared not to go offside. It looks like it won’t do some things, but he does.
“Lautaro can be a great number nine alongside Messi, he has characteristics that fit perfectly for Leo’s game. Inside the box, for example, he is the same as Suarez in terms of his opportunism and sense for scoring goals.”

To bring Lautaro to Barcelona, the Blaugranas have to spend a lot to get him to Catalunya. It is also rumoured that Barca will be doing a player + cash deal to bring the striker to Camp Nou. Messi has already made it clear that he wants Lautaro to Barcelona and will happy to play alongside him and Neymar Jr.
