The second El Clasico of the 2020-21 season will be played on 10th April. Real Madrid are the host for the game on Matchday 30.

The match will kickoff at 12:30 am IST (Sunday, 11th April). It will be a late-night kickoff to allow all the fans worldwide to get a taste of the biggest game in club football.

The El Clasico is always surrounded by dramas on and off the field, and this time, it isn’t different either. Mateu Lahoz was appointed as the referee of this El Clasico, but an injury has ruled him out of the game.

This is the statement, via Sport: “The Arbitration Committee of the Professional Competition (CACP) has changed the appointment of referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz due to a muscle injury , the referee initially appointed to direct the match between Real Madrid CF – FC Barcelona on matchday 30 of the First Division . “

The RFEF has now appointed Gil Manzano as the replacement of Mateu Lahoz. He will now be in charge of keeping order at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium.
