## Episode 7 Recap: Forever is an Instant

Episode 7 delivered Cooper and Ariana’s romantic engagement amid corporate chaos. Tommy’s road trip with his father T.L. provided character growth moments, including a literal rattlesnake encounter that symbolized larger life lessons about slowing down.

M-TEX’s offshore drilling crisis deepened when Charlie warned Rebecca that the hurricane might be covering up structural failures. Nate’s push to sue the insurance company added legal complications, while Tommy and Angela’s breakfast argument—ostensibly about an omelet—reflected deeper relationship tensions.

The episode balanced heartfelt moments (Cooper’s candlelit proposal) with mounting corporate pressure, setting up episode 8’s high-stakes conflicts.

## What to Expect from Handsome Touched Me

**Tommy’s Leadership Crisis**
Cami’s decision to side with Dan creates internal M-TEX conflicts threatening the Gallino partnership. Tommy must protect company assets while managing executive rebellion—a test of his crisis management skills under maximum pressure.

**Offshore Drilling Fallout**
Rebecca and Charlie continue assessing the failed drilling project. Episode 8 will likely reveal additional financial setbacks, insurance complications, and executive decisions that could destabilize M-TEX’s future operations.

**Relationship Dynamics Shift**
Cooper and Ariana’s engagement brings celebration but also new challenges navigating life changes. Tommy and Angela’s clashes will likely escalate, while Ainsley remains unaware of key developments involving Ryder—creating dramatic irony for viewers.

**Legal Warfare Intensifies**
Nate’s litigation strategy will influence corporate decisions. Conflicts over signed forms, contracts, and governance threaten both professional relationships and personal bonds within the M-TEX family.

## The Road to the Season Finale

With three episodes remaining (including episode 8), *Landman* season 2 accelerates toward resolution. The series continues exploring themes of loyalty, ambition, and survival in Texas oil country—territory Taylor Sheridan has mastered through shows like *Yellowstone* and *1923*.

Episode 8’s title, “Handsome Touched Me,” hints at either a character revelation or a callback to earlier season events. Given the show’s pattern of blending humor with high stakes, expect both tension and unexpected character moments.
