The match concluded with a decisive straight-set win of 21-12, 21-6, propelling Sen into the quarterfinals and marking a significant milestone in his career.

Lakshya Sen’s historic win makes him only the second Indian male shuttler to reach the quarterfinals of an Olympic singles event, following in the footsteps of Parupalli Kashyap, who achieved the feat in the 2012 London Olympics.
