## What’s the Story?

*Ladies First* follows Damien Sachs (Sacha Baron Cohen) — a classic “ladies’ man” on the cusp of becoming CEO — who wakes up in a parallel world completely dominated by women. Every power dynamic he’s ever known? Flipped. Enter Alex Fox, played by the fiercely talented Rosamund Pike, who becomes his sharp-tongued workplace rival in this new world order.

The film is a reimagining of the 2018 French Netflix hit [*I Am Not an Easy Man*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Am_Not_an_Easy_Man), adapted for English-speaking audiences with a stellar British cast.

## Star-Studded Cast

Beyond the two leads, the ensemble is genuinely impressive — Charles Dance, Fiona Shaw, Richard E. Grant, Emily Mortimer, and Tom Davis all feature. That’s a lot of firepower for a comedy.

## Why Should You Watch It?

Director Thea Sharrock (*Wicked Little Letters*) brings real comedic chops to the project. The screenplay is co-written by Katie Silberman, who helped craft *Booksmart* — so sharp, witty dialogue is all but guaranteed.
