La Liga is expected to undergo an image change from 2023/24 onwards, changing the colour wheel which has been around for 30 years. The La Liga rebrand will see the logo changed from the current multi coloured design to an orange-centric font.
Moreover, Santander, which had the naming rights to the first and second tier of Spain, will no longer be a sponsor. The bank will be replaced by the upcoming video game EA Sports FC, and the league will now be called LaLiga EA Sports FC following the rebrand of the FIFA video game series.
La Liga rebrand – What do we know so far?
The leak comes from Footyheadlines, which is known for pre-releasing football kits much before clubs have made an official announcement. And in this case, they might have revealed the new La Liga design before the official rebranding has taken place.
The website also reports that the kit font will change from next season as part of the La Liga rebrand. It was the same as the league logo font for years. However, we can expect a more modernistic font, albeit not as classy as the current design.
Footyheadlines maintained that they cannot reveal the accurate new La Liga logo yet. But, they have confirmed the orange-ish colour pallette that will be followed.
