La Liga has sensationally blocked Dani Carvajal’s proposed move to Getafe, despite the veteran defender completing a medical! The reason? Financial Fair Play. Carvajal, a free agent from Real Madrid, agreed to a shocking 96% pay cut, from €10M to €400K annually.

League officials suspect “dubious, hidden” payments, fearing the unrealistic salary hides undeclared sponsorships. This move highlights La Liga’s strict rules against under-the-table deals, ensuring transparency and competitive balance across the league.
