Kylian Mbappe was named the best player in Ligue 1 for a fifth time at the UNFP (French players’ union) Trophies gala. The striker has scored 44 goals across all competitions for PSG this season, of which 27 have come in the league. The France captain has also won the Golden Boot in Ligue 1, alongside the title itself in what is his last season with the Parisians.
The World Cup winner confirmed he would be leaving the club after much speculation recently. And now, all signs point to a transfer to Real Madrid two years after it originally fell through on the final day.
