Paris Saint-Germain have decided to put Kylian Mbappe on the transfer market, after weeks of speculation about his future. The player intends to stay on for the 2023/24 season, but PSG are determined to not lose him for a free transfer in 2024. They are also convinced that he has an agreement with Real Madrid to join them as a free agent next summer.
As a result, they are willing to let him go this summer after he decided to not extend his contract any further. Bids from all clubs will be considered for the player, with no veto expected to be applied even if Real Madrid approach them with an offer.
Paris Saint-Germain put Kylian Mbappe up for sale
In order to force the transfer, PSG have decided to leave Kylian Mbappe out of their pre-season tour in Japan. The club had asked him to choose between a new deal or a transfer by July 15, but he didn’t respond.
And due to his silence, the board has decided to part ways with Mbappe since they want to implement the philosophy of no player being greater than the club.
The plan for them is to sell Mbappe as soon as possible so that they can prepare a replacement and finalise their plans for the season. However, the transfer fee involved might rule out the majority of top European clubs from even considering a transfer for the France international.
