KRAFTON India Reflects on a Successful 2024 with BGMI and Bullet Echo Highlights

BGMI, with over 200 million downloads, continues to be India’s most popular battle royale game. Major cities like Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru garnered the highest player activity, by far, but even small towns were already taking part enthusiastically. The game’s most remarkable player achievements came from an MVP who racked up 4,021 finishes and took part in a remarkable 19,245 matches, about 11 chicken dinners a day. Another player has hit 16,371 headshots. This reflects BGMI’s strong appeal to the esports enthusiast. TDM Warehouse became the general favourite map, delivering fast-paced action.

Besides competitive mode matches, personalized collections of in-game items were also a major part the player experience. The Galadria X Suit and luxury Lamborghini car skins enhanced the aesthetics of their gaming session. Bullet Echo, famous for its strategic game-playing, was distributed across the geographic landscape: unexpected cities such as Patna overtook Kolkata and Delhi in terms of engagement.

The most-played hero in Bullet Echo was Bastion, with Stalker, Sparkle, and Firefly following closely. Popular skins such as Mirage Dancer and Sparkle Star became very fashionable among India’s advanced players, thus ensuring that Bullet Echo had a place in tactically-minded gaming.

In future KRAFTON India will continue building on the success of BGMI and Bullet Echo in 2025. The company is expected to create new playing methods, culturally sensitive content, and such new games as CookieRun India. All this will help KRAFTON continue to foster creativity, competition, and community in India’s rapidly growing gaming industry.
