The nominees for the Kopa Trophy have been revealed for 2024. The award is given out to the best player under 21 in every season of football, based on their all-round performance.
Last season, Jude Bellingham won the award after his remarkable performance with Borussia Dortmund. And after his incredible run this past season, he has been nominated for the Ballon d’or and is one of the top players in contention.

Here are the nominees for the Kopa Trophy 2024:
- Lamine Yamal (Barcelona)
- Arda Güler (Real Madrid)
- Pau Cubarsà (Barcelona)
- Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)
- Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United)
- Karim Konaté (RB Salzburg)
- Joao Neves (Benfica and PSG)
- Savinho (Girona and Manchester City)
- Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich)
- Warren Zaïre-Emery (PSG)
Lamine Yamal perhaps has the best case for winning the Kopa Trophy this year, after his incredible performance for Barcelona and Spain. He played a very important role in helping the national team win Euro 2024. Should he win, he would be the third player from Barcelona to win it in consecutive seasons after Pedri and Gavi.
However, Kobbie Mainoo and Warren Zaire-Emery could spell a surprise owing to their breakthrough seasons for Manchester United and PSG respectively.
