It’s official: Ibrahima Konaté is heading to the Bernabéu. The defensive powerhouse has secured a verbal agreement on a four-year deal with Real Madrid, joining as a free agent this summer. After five stellar years at Anfield, the Frenchman leaves Liverpool seeking a new challenge. Los Blancos have landed one of Europe’s elite defenders in a massive, zero-transfer-fee tactical masterclass.
