## What’s the Story?

The new case moves to Dalerpura. A woman is found dead in her brother’s barn, and the suspect list keeps growing. According to [The Week](https://www.theweek.in/news/entertainment/2026/01/20/kohrra-season-2-on-netflix-here-s-when-next-chapter-of-crime-series-starring-barun-sobti-and-mona-singh-will-begin-streaming.amp.html), Barun Sobti’s ASI Amarpal Garundi now works under Mona Singh’s Sub-Inspector Dhanwant Kaur.

Their styles clash, with one methodical and the other instinctive. As the case digs deeper, both start facing the pasts they’ve tried to bury, a point [IANS](https://ianslive.in/barun-sobti-faces-mona-singhs-authority-in-kohrra-2-to-stream-from-february-11--20260120110551) also highlighted.

## What Makes It Different?

- **A real Punjab:** bleak, foggy winters where silence says more than confessions.
- **A fresh case:** you can follow it even if you skipped Season 1, though the first season is still worth watching.
- **Character-first writing:** the investigators are as damaged as the crime they’re solving.

Sudip Sharma, who returns as showrunner and director, has said the aim was an authentic portrayal of Punjab with characters “rooted in a universal reality.”
