Odisha FC have announced the signing of British striker Klesha Rosa Darroux on a contract until the end of the 2024 IWL season. The forward previously featured for Kazakhstani club WFC Okzhetpes before making the move to India.Â
It now remains to be seen whether her debut comes in Odisha FC’s game against East Bengal, or whether she has to wait to get her first run out on an Indian pitch.

At 25, Klesha Rosa Darroux is entering her prime years as a footballer and could be a valuable addition for the Kalinga Warriors if she can hit the ground running. After winning the Odisha Women’s League this past season, the team will be trying to extend their momentum into the Women’s top flight.
Odisha FC are currently second in the IWL table behind Karnataka’s Kickstart FC, with 12 points from four games. An extension of their flawless record into the game at East Bengal Ground will allow them to climb to the top of the table and maintain a 100% record as they try to win the title this time around.
