## What’s the Story in Part 2?

The ruthless family behind the beauty brand — and the illicit underground trafficking ring concealed beneath it — is facing its biggest reckoning yet. Lead actress **Taylor Polidore Williams**, who plays Kimmie, says her character is done seeking validation: she understands the cost of power now — and she’s choosing it anyway. Meanwhile, **Crystle Stewart’s** Mallory is entering darker, more dangerous territory with her volatile husband Roy — a relationship built on intention rather than weakness, and about to be tested like never before.

This is exactly the kind of bold, twisty, high-stakes drama that [Tyler Perry](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyler_Perry) has built his entire career on — and *Beauty in Black* may be his strongest Netflix offering to date.

## Who’s Returning?

The full ensemble is back, including Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Ricco Ross, Julian Horton, Terrell Carter, Bryan Tanaka, Richard Lawson, Debbi Morgan, and Charles Malik Whitfield — plus a wave of exciting new guest appearances led by Philemon Chambers, Jasmine Burke, and Phylicía Lloyd.

With Season 3 already greenlit, this is clearly a franchise Netflix is betting big on.
