Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Reunite for North’s Big Performance: ‘It’s Always Good Vibes’ says Kim

Despite their publicized split, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have always made it a priority to support their kids together. The former couple recently reunited for a special occasion—North West’s big performance at the Hollywood Bowl. Kim, 44, and Kanye, 47, were both backstage cheering on their 11-year-old daughter as she performed at The Lion King concert event. Their reunion was captured in the latest episode of The Kardashians, which aired on February 20.

A Special Moment for North

North took center stage to perform “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” in front of a packed audience. While North appeared confident and excited, her mom, Kim, admitted to feeling extremely nervous. “I had a near heart attack,” she confessed, explaining that her anxiety skyrocketed while watching her daughter perform.

Kanye, on the other hand, was calm and focused, even offering suggestions to improve the show. He asked if the production team could “change the graphics” for the performance. Kim immediately agreed, responding, “Of course, of course. It will be a better production (if you take his notes). Kanye and I want the best for the kids. And so anytime we’re here supporting our child, it’s always good vibes.”

A Family United Backstage

Before stepping onto the stage, North stood between her parents, holding both of their hands as they prayed together. It was a touching family moment, showing that no matter what has happened between Kim and Kanye, their priority remains the same—their kids.

After the performance, Kanye was there to celebrate North’s success. The proud dad told her, “You did so good,” as North admitted she had been “praying every second” before going on stage.

North’s younger siblings, Saint (9) and Chicago (7), were also backstage, cheering her on. It was a proud moment for Kim as a mom. She later said, “To see your child have so much fun and not be nervous at all—that’s everything.”

Kim and Kanye’s Relationship Today

Kim and Kanye’s love story began long before they got together romantically. The two first met in the early 2000s but didn’t form a close friendship until 2008. After Kim’s brief 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, she started dating Kanye in 2012. They welcomed their first child, North, in 2013 and tied the knot in May 2014.

However, after six years of marriage, Kim filed for divorce in 2021. The couple officially settled in November 2022, agreeing on joint legal and physical custody of their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Although their separation was initially amicable, things have been rocky at times. Kanye has since moved on and married Bianca Censori. Despite their differences, moments like North’s performance show that Kim and Kanye are still able to come together for their children.

Co-Parenting with ‘Good Vibes’

Over the years, Kim and Kanye’s co-parenting journey has had its ups and downs. However, their ability to set aside their differences for their kids is something many admire.
