A kidnapping unfolding across seven cities, seven strangers, and one brutal survival game — “kiDnap GAME” isn’t playing it safe with its premise, and its newly released poster makes that abundantly clear. With a pan-Asian cast led by [Lee Joon-gi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Joon-gi) and Sakaguchi Kentaro, this upcoming thriller is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious international collaborations in recent K-drama history.

## kiDnap GAME **Premise: A Game With No Room for Error**

“kiDnap GAME” centers on an unprecedented kidnapping case unfolding simultaneously across Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha, and Manila. Seven individuals are each assigned different missions and forced into a deadly 10-day survival game, where completing their tasks before anyone else becomes the only way to save their loved ones and stay alive themselves.

## **The Rose That Ties It All Together**

The newly unveiled poster arranges every character’s face into the shape of a giant rose — a striking visual choice that also carries narrative weight. According to the production team, the “red rose” functions as a recurring symbol throughout the series, hinting at deeper secrets connected to both the kidnapping case and the survival game itself.

## **Why This Drama Stands Out**?

Cross-national survival thrillers aren’t new, but assembling a cast spanning Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand — all tied together through one interconnected mystery — gives “kiDnap GAME” a genuinely global scope. Combined with high-stakes personal motivations for each character, the show seems designed to blend psychological tension with pan-Asian star power.

“kiDnap GAME” premieres on Channel A on October 6 at 10 p.m. KST.
